Compressor Blade Blending & Repair

Blending removes nicks and sharp edges, then polishes the profile so airflow stays laminar.

Key Points
  • Performed on-wing—no engine removal
  • Applicable from IPC to HPC stages
  • Returns aircraft to service in hours, not weeks
  • Defers costly top-case or full shop visit
Boroblending (CFM56 Example)

Mechanical grinding & polish via borescope ports. Ideal for foreign-object damage that exceeds AMM limits but is still within blendable depth.

C1 Fan Inspection & Repairs

The LPC fan is your engine's point of entry. Erosion, dirt, sand, and FOD distort leading-edge contours, raising vibration levels that migrate straight to the bearings.

Our Process
  • Disassemble & deep-clean fan assembly
  • Measure chord/thickness & trailing-edge limits
  • Blend/reshape leading edges to OEM spec
  • Balance, lube, or replace blades/disk as needed
Benefits
  • Restores airflow efficiency
  • Reduces vibration-induced bearing wear
  • Extends time-on-wing
